Description:
Thallus is a thin, crinkly, rose-red blade, to 15 cm (6 in) tall and about half the width. A crisscrossing network of veins permeates the thallus, which often has bumps (cystocarps) and may develop holes. Habitat: Found in the low intertidal and subtidal on rock in semi-exposed to semi-protected habitats. Similar taxa: Devaleraea, Cryptopleura
