Description: Thallus is rose red to dusky pink, delicate, mostly under 10 cm (4 in) tall with thin, narrow blades (to 0.6 cm wide) with conspicuous midrib, less conspicuous paired lateral veins, and irregular, narrow teeth along margins that can develop into lateral branches. Holdfast is discoidal or of ribbon-like branches similar to lateral branches. Habitat: This perennial is found on rock in the low intertidal of semi-protected to semi-exposed habitats. Similar taxa: Mikamiella ruprechtiana, Tokidadendron bullatum.
