Rocky shorelines with moderate wave energy and sediments that are sufficiently mobile
to limit epibenthos in some portion of the shore.

Semi-Exposed, Mobile
Small-size sediment shores generally have no epibenthic community. Cobble/boulder
beaches may have biota. Dunes frequent in backshore.
