Description: Thallus a papery thin, rose red, fan-shaped blade with fine veins radiating from near the base. The blade is dissected into numerous lobes, which can be fringed with tiny bladelets. Blades can reach 20 cm (8 in) or more in height and are often broader than tall. Habitat: This perennial occurs on rock in the low intertidal to subtidal in semi-protected to semi-exposed habitats.
