Description:
Thallus is an emerald green tube to 10 cm tall and very narrow (~ 1 mm diam.). Cells are small (3-6 mm diam.), rounded, often in groups of 2 or 4 basally, larger (~15 mm diam.) at distal end of thallus. Habitat: The species is found on mid to lower intertidal boulders and bedrock in spring and early summer. Similar taxa: Rosenvingiella, Ulothrix, Urospora
