Description:

Thallus is a dark green unbranched, uniseriate filament, which is fairly smooth and rigid and grows in clusters. The cells comprising each filament are large enough to see with the naked eye. Habitat: This perennial occurs on rock or as unattached strands in the low intertidal and subtidal of protected to semi-exposed habitats.
